ROWE, Marjorie Joyce (nee Heather) On September 13, 2010 we lost a best friend, mother, sister and grandma. Marjorie Joyce Rowe was born on September 16, 1941. She was born in Edmonton and it was her town and she treated it that way. She worked at the Bissell Child Care Center most of her career and supported the families of the inner city. As of late, she had kept up her need to help by adopting a family in Gaurdalavaca, Cuba. Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Heather Rowe, Marilyn Mckercher (Bruce), Deborah Rowe (Terry Teichroeb) and her son, Vincent Rowe; five grandchildren, Marty Rowe, Danielle Rowe, Melissa Kleen, Cole Rowe and Brandon Kleen; two great-grandchildren, Emily and Joey Johnson and her siblings, Jim (Margo), Gary (Roy), Gail and Wendy (Joe) Heather. She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Rowe; grandchild, Keith Rowe and her parents, John and Virginia Heather. Services will be held September 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Howard & McBride Chapel of Chimes, 10179 - 108 Street. There will be an after gathering at 16332 - 98 Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NABIS, #229, Royal Alex Place, 10106 - 111 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5G 0B4 or to any charity in need.
