THOMPSON, Marjorie Phyllis. On Wednesday September 8th, 2004 at the Starwood Nursing Home, at the age of 83 years. Sister-in-law of Ronald Frazer. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Mabel Thompson of England and her 2 beloved sisters Madeline Pole of England and Eileen Frazer of Ottawa. Marjorie was a dedicated and capable secretary, starting in England in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force, emmigrating to Canada in 1953, and retiring in 1983 from the National Research Council. A very special thank you to the Starwood staff who have cared lovingly for her since January 2002. At Marjorie's request there will be no visitation. Interment will be at Pinecrest Cemetery beside her sister Eileen on Friday September 17th, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Anyone wishing to make a memorial donation may send it to "The Family Support Group", c/o Starwood Extendicare, 114 Starwood Road, Nepean, ON K2G 3N5.
