Marjorie May Nord, 74, of Cloquet, was called home to the Great Spirit on Feb. 11, 2005 at home surrounded be her family and friends. She was born on March 6, 1930 in Onigum, Minn. on the White Earth Reservation to Peter and Julia (Bell) Lemieux. Marge was a member of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to pow-wows, garage sales, gardening, flowers, and visiting with friends and family. Marge was preceded in death by ex-husband Ambrose Houle; sons, Alan and Paul 'Rocky'; brother Kenneth 'Buckles'; granddaughter Patricia Thunder; great-granddaughter Keisha Houle; and her parents. Marge is survived by her children May Houle, Dolly (Ron) Ulven, Marcie 'Bibsy' (Jim) Goodreau, Tom Houle, Patrick (Kim) Houle, Chuck (Peggy) Houle, Sue (Roy) Maki, Jim 'Booey' (Edie) Houle, David (Daine) Houle, Nikki (Andy) Stoner, Elena Jones; 40 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. Marge was also survived by her sisters Marlene (Marion) Shofner, Myra Gomez, Joann (Glen) Thompson, and Gloria (Rich) Yellow, and special friends, Diane, Buddy, and Mellie. WAKE:5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14, 2005 and continuing until Tuesday morning at the Fond du Lac Headstart Gym. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Gym.
