->Smith, Marjorie M.Marjorie M. Smith, 90, of 1184 E. Shore Drive, Ithaca, NY passed away peacefully on December 23, 2012. She was born in Logansport, IN on August 8, 1922 and the only child of the late Fred and Clara Moses, Varna, NY. Marjorie graduated from Ithaca High School in 1939. She enjoyed life at the lake home with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends, family pets along with picnics, boating, holidays, birthdays and her flower garden. Much of her life was dedicated with love and devotion to daughter and constant companion Dianne. They would make weekly trips to Wegmans, Eddydale, Kmart, Friendly's and enjoyed going to craft fairs, such as The Windmill, and bake sales with Dianne always by her side. Marjorie is survived by daughters, Dianne Smith, Nancy (John) Kidney; son, Fred Smith; daughters-in-law, Chris (Juddy) Leonard, Janine Smith; nine grandchildren and their families; nieces, nephews. Marjorie was predeceased by son Ronald Smith in 1991. Private services will be held at Bangs Funeral Home. We wish to express our warmest gratitude to the staff at Beechtree Care Center and Hospicare for the loving care and support they provided to Marjorie and her family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospicare.
