Marjorie-M. Lee, spouse of Carl-A. Lee, mother of Mary Eloise, Margaret, George, Danville and Pa, died on March 1, 2002.
Marjorie M. Lee of Susquehanna, Pa.Marjorie M. Lee, 79, of Elm St., Susquehanna, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2002, at the Barnes Kasson Hospital after an illness. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl A. Lee in 1965 and an infant daughter, Mary Eloise Lee in 1954. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, C. James & Susan Lee, Binghamton, N.Y., William R. Lee, Susquehanna; two daughters and sons-in-law; Margaret and George Vacca, Danville, Pa., Nancy and William Culnane, Susquehanna; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Marjorie was a member of St. John's Church, Susquehanna. She gave generously to the Veterans of Foreign War and various Catholic Missionaries. Marjorie devoted her life to taking care of her parents, children, and grandchildren and extended family. The Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2002, at 9:30 a.m. at the Hennessey's Funeral Home, 208 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna and 10 a.m. at the St. John's Church, Susquehanna, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered by the Rev. Charles Connor. Burial will be in the Grand Evergreen Cemetery, Susquehanna. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Church, Church St., Susquehanna or Susquehanna Fire Department, P.O. Box 175, Susquehanna, Pa. 18847.
