MARJORIE THERESA JACKSON (NEE GOOD) Marjorie Jackson, late of Regina, SK passed away on August 25, 2009 at the age of 80 years. Marjorie was born Friday, November 13th, 1928 on a farmstead near Verwood, SK; attending Normal School in Moose Jaw as she was growing up. After obtaining her teaching certificate, she had taught school at Caron. In 1964, Marjorie had worked at the Leader Post, and later, from 1965 to 1993 she had worked in the University of Regina Library. Marjorie belonged to Eastern Star, IODE, and the General Hospital Auxiliary. Predeceased by her parents, William and Mary Good; her husband, Percy in 1952 and six brothers. Marjorie is survived by her son, Bill (Laurie); grandchildren, Billy, Becky, Andrew; brother, Jim (Shirley); sisters-inlaw, Phyllis, Helen, Vivian, Bert; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family graciously declines flowers. Donations, in memoriam, may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan Inc., #301 2550 12th Avenue, Regina, SK, S4P 3X1. A visitation will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2009. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2009 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK. Online condolences may be signed at www.speersfuneralchapel.com .
