COWAN, Marjorie Grace (nee Henderson) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie Grace Cowan of Manotick, wife of Lloyd Cowan, on Thursday, July 7, 2005. Dearly loved mother of Marilyn Courville (Daniel) and Barry (Patricia), both of Manotick. Loved and devoted grandmother of Natalie and Jeffrey Courville and Ashley and Vanessa Cowan. Daughter of the late Earl and Myrtle Henderson. Will be dearly missed by sisters-in-law Geraldine (late Mervin Henderson) and Eleanor (late Eldon Henderson) of Carleton Place. Upon Majorie's request there will be no public visitation. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home, Chapel and Reception Centre, 6971 Bank Street (formerly highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) at a Funeral Service Monday in the Chapel for Service at 11 a.m. Interment Spring Hill Cemetery. Reception to follow in the reception area of the funeral home, all are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be most appreciated.
