FOX, Marjorie FrancesMarj passed away peacefully September 5, 2015 at VGH in her 95th year. Marj was born in Trossachs, SK in 1920.She enjoyed volunteering, travelling, crafts, canning, wine-making, and helping at Corpus Christi Catholic and St Thomas Anglican churches. Her great sense of humour and independent spirit were a loving inspiration to family and friends. Marj has reunited with the love of her life, Lloyd (died July 21, 2014), with whom she would have recently celebrated 70 years of marriage. She was predeceased by brothers Harold (1994) and Ron (1992), and granddaughter Jodi (2001). Marj is survived by her daughter Fran (Dave), son Don (Joy), grandchildren Tamara (David), Nicole (Scott), Shane (Amanda), Greg, Christina, nine great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. A Memorial Mass will be held September 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 6350 Nanaimo St, Vancouver, BC. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Marj''s favourite charity, Covenant House Vancouver (www.covenanthousebc.org). A special thanks goes to those extraordinary friends who supported mom on a regular basis.
