Marjorie Anne Smith, 86, of 361 Lutheran Terrace, Union City, Ind., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013 at Wayne Hospital, Greenville, Ohio. She was born Feb. 9, 1927 in Union City, Ind., to Clyde Chattin and Mabel (Rodgers) Chattin. She was a graduate of Union City Community High School and was a longtime resident of Union City, Ind.Survivors include a son, Steven Smith of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren, Melanie Cockrill, Suzanne Dugan and Geoffrey Smith; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Martin; two brothers, Dr. William Chattin and Dr. Robert Chattin; and two sisters, Eileen Thomas and Martha Jane Cole.
