SUDBURY Marjorie A. Walker, 95, retired FBI agent and a native of Sudbury, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, in Fairfax, Va, where she had lived in recent years. She was the last of the prominent Walker family to live on the family farm on Goodmans Hill Road in Sudbury. Miss Walker was born and raised in Sudbury, the daughter of the late Carlton and Sarah (Sheedy) Walker. She was a graduate of Sudbury High School and LaSalle College in Newton. She then went on to a 30-year career with the FBI, first in Washington, D.C., and later with the bureau's Boston office. She retired in 1972, and over the years enjoyed reading and gardening. She was active with community gardening in Sudbury and was a well-known volunteer at Emerson Hospital in Concord. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in death by her four siblings, Carlton, Roger, Elizabeth and Robert Walker. She leaves three nephews and their spouses, Frederick and Mary Walker of Fairfax, Va., Carlton and Judith Walker of Milford, and Richard and Mary Walker of Peabody; as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place Friday, Dec. 19, at 11 a.m., at the Memorial Congregational Church, Concord and Church streets, Sudbury, followed by interment in the family lot in Wadsworth Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, Dec. 18, 5 to 8 p.m., at the Duckett-J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road (Rte. 20), Sudbury.
