WILLIAMS, Marion It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Marion Williams. Our sorrow will be comforted in remembering the blessing of her amazing long life. Marion was born in Toronto on May 28, 1911 and while not seeing her hundredth birthday, she was in her 100th year... Marion is survived by her sons Elwick (Colleen) and Jack, and grandchildren Wendy-Ann (John), Sharon (Darrel), Dean, Kim (Craig), Mike and Danny. Also left to mourn are her sister Margaret, her brother Steve (Dorothy) and many great-grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her husband and lifelong soulmate Henry Francis (aka Tom), her daughter Nellie and her daughter-in-law Geraldine. Mary was an amazing woman and rejoiced in the simple things - she learned to swim at 71! A favourite spot away from home was their property on Gun Lake where she spent funfilled days with Jack and family. When asked on her 99th birthday to what contributed her long life, she replied, "Work hard." And in this she was an example to all. Marion had an inherent positive nature which she exhibited even at the end. Each day, as she became weaker she would smile and say, "I'm feeling much better." Her passing leaves a void in all our lives and soon this void will be filled with loving memories complete with big smiles knowing that we were all enriched by her life.
