->BANGOR AND MILLINOCKET - Marion R. Williams, 90, died peacefully with family by her side July 27, 2014 at a Lincoln health care facility. She was born March 5, 1924 in Millinocket, a daughter of Charles and Ina (DeMerchant) Barr.Marion was a woman of strong faith, generosity, and love of life. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, painting, and photography. She was a longtime resident of Millinocket, also residing in New Hampshire and Florida. She was an active member of the Millinocket Baptist Church.She is survived by two children, Nada Williams and her fiancé, Bruce White of Bangor, Don Williams of New Hampshire; five grandchildren, Kristen Williams-Smith, Nicole Williams, Jaime Laliberte, Aaron Williams, Isaac Williams; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, George W. Williams; son, George "Caleb" Williams; daughter-in-law, Jaye (Blanchette) Williams; grandson, Matthew Call; two sisters, Olga Phillips, Alice Bernatowicz, and a brother, Benjamin Barr Sr.A celebration of her life will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday at the Millinocket Baptist Church. A memorial reception will follow in the church hall. Burial will be at a later date at the family plot at Millinocket Cemetery.
