Marion "Dawn" Parker, 83, of Lakewood, N.J., passed away on June 12, 2011, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick, N.J. Visiting will be on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Rd., Toms River, N.J. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Toms River, with the burial following at the Whiting Memorial Park. Dawn was born in Pennsylvania and had resided in Elizabeth, N.J., and Cranford, N.J., before moving to Lakewood. She was an administrative clerk with the McDowell's Fuel Company before her retirement. Dawn was active member of the Cranford Alliance Church and was currently a member of the First Baptist Church of Toms River. Surviving are her beloved husband of 65 years, Frank "Ray" Parker; her devoted children, Gary Parker, and Ruth Sandberg and her husband, Carl; cherished grandsons, Sean and Joseph, and five great-grandchildren.
