Johnson, Marion M. DELMAR Marion (McHale) Johnson, born September 5, 1906 to Francis and Mary (Shea) McHale and departed this life May 6, 2007 at Good Samaritan Lutheran Health Care Center surrounded by her family. She joined her husband, Russell H. Johnson who predeceased her in 2002 after 72 years of marriage. Marion is the mother of Carol Murphy, Gayle Faughnan, both of Delmar and Linda Perry (Donald) of San Antonio, Texas. She is the grandmother of Richard Murphy III, Stephen Murphy (Coreen), Mark Murphy (Michelle), Amy Murphy, James Faughnan III (Mary), R. Thomas Faughnan (Eileen), Michael Faughnan (Lisa), Suzanne Tomb (Steve), John Cummings and Kevin Cumm-ings. She is the great-grand-mother of Ryan and Kyle Murphy, Sean Murphy, Galen, Caroline and Alexandra Murphy, Andrew and Rebecca Faughnan, Erin and Katelyn Faughnan, Liam Faughnan and Seamus, Brendan and Casey Tomb. She was predeceased by her great-grandson, Tommy Faughnan and son-in-law James P. Faughnan. Marion was a lifelong resident of Albany and Warners Lake and for 25 years wintered in Vero Beach, Fla. She worked for the NYS Legislature in the Assembly for 10 years and worked the polls during the elections. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, cards and entertaining family and friends. Although she will be greatly missed, her family takes comfort that Mar and Russ are together again for eternity. The family would like to thank the staff of Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center for the loving care and kindness she was shown during her stay with them. Thanks also goes to Good Samaritan Lutheran Health Care Center in Delmar, where Marion resided during her final months. Marion was under the care of Hospice of Albany and Rensselaer Counties and the knowledge, comfort and care they provided assisted Marion and her family throughout her journey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John-St. Ann Church in the South End, Wednesday at 10 a.m. Those wishing to remember Marion in a special way may contribute to the Tommy Faughnan Scholarship Fund, South Colonie Dollars For Scholars, P.O.
