Smith, Marion Irene (Mann) KINDERHOOK Marion Irene (Mann) Smith, 83, died Thursday, February 7, 2013. Irene grew up in Muitzeskill and lived most of her life in Kinderhook. She was a member of the Kinderhook Dutch Reformed Church for more than 50 years, where she sang in the choir and did volunteer work. She enjoyed singing in the Sweet Adelines barbershop chorus and was a member of the Kinderhook Fire Company Auxiliary. She is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline (George) Kosa of Hudson, Marcia Smith of Memphis, Tenn., Renee Smith of Hudson and JoAnn Smith of Columbia, S.C.; and four granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Virginia Rothermel of Kinderhook. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert A. Smith and son, Jay C. Smith. She is also predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred G. (Marion) Mann. Services will be held at Cornerstone Fellowship Church Kinderhook on Monday, February 11 at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Kinderhook Cemetery.
