HARRIS _ Marion Cecilia passed away peacefully at Evergreen House, North Vancouver on July 8, 2003 at the age of 100 years. Marion was predeceased by Ewen, her husband for 70 years, in August 2000, and by their son James Willard in 1935 at age 2. She is survived by her loving daughter Marjean Park and devoted son-in-law Ron of West Vancouver; grandson Randy Park (Nora) and granddaughter Eileen MacDonald (George); great-grandsons, Peter and Cameron MacDonald, all of Toronto. Also special nieces, Jean Kilbom of Bellevue, WA, Betty Mae Harvey of Nanaimo, B.C., Norma Wirth of N.S.W. Australia and nephew Hugh Kelly of N.S.W. Australia, and many other nieces and nephews in BC. and Australia. Mom was born in Inverness, Scotland on June 27, 1903. Her parents and their six children came to Nanaimo in 1911. She moved to Vancouver in the 1920's where she met Ewen when they both worked in Woodward Stores. She passed along her loving, independent traits to her family and we will miss her determination. Special thanks to Dr. Beth Hildebrandt and Dr. Richard Sebba, Inglewood Manor staff, Evergreen House 2 South staff and We Care companions. Your loving care made a difference in Mom's quality of life. The Reverend John Gouws officiated at a family graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation would be much appreciated. Drop thy still dews of quietness, till all our strivings cease; take from our souls the strain and stress, and let Our ordered lives confess the beauty of thy peace.
