Marion Harris Age 91 of Lindley, NY passed away on Monday, May 28, 2001 at Schuyler Hospital, Skilled Nursing Facility, Montour Falls, NY. She was born on February 24, 1910 in Lindley, NY the daughter of the late Harlow J. & Gertrude Harris. Mrs. Miller was predeceased by her husband, Howard J. Miller in 1980. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Donald) Bauman of Montour Falls, NY; sons, Alan (Janet) Miller of Lindley, NY and Gary (JoAnn) Miller of Painted Post, NY; 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; sister, Wilma Welty of Lindley, NY, brother, Leland (Joyce) Harris of Lindley, NY; 2 nieces, 1 nephew and several cousins. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Lindley Community Church, Lindley, NY and attended the Glen Baptist Church, Watkins Glen, NY. She was a teacher and bus driver for 20 years for the Corning-Painted Post School District and was a Tutor for many years. She was a member of the Corning Area Retired Teachers Association and Lindley-Presho Senior Citizens. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY on Friday, June 1, 2001 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again at the Lindley Community Church, Lindley, NY on Saturday, June 2, 2001 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Her funeral service will follow in the Church at 11 AM with the Rev. Timothy Hartigan and Rev. Teddy Herren officiating. Burial will follow in Presho Cemetery, Presho, NY.
