MASHFORD, Marion Harland It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother Marion (nee Walker), at the age of 98 on Tuesday, January 3, 2006. Mom was born on the family homestead at Trochu, Alberta, September 6, 1907. She leaves behind and is lovingly remembered by her son Cliff (Dani); daughters, Carol (George) Young, Kay (Don) Fraser; daughter-in-law Janet; grandchildren, Doug (Chantelle), Cari (Brian), Barb (John), Tim (Shelley), Kathy (Steve), Murray (Paige), Geoff (Jackie), Jamie (Dee), Tom (Stacey); eighteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by our Dad George in 1985; our brother Ray in 2003; her great-grandson Cameron in 2005; and her parents, three brothers and two sisters. Her greatest joy in life was her family. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 703 Heritage Drive S.W., Calgary, Alberta.
