-> Hinesville - Marion Fraser Miller died Friday, April 18, 2003 at Memorial Medical Center. Shew was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Hinesville, the Liberty County Historical Society, Daughters of the American Colonists, Daughters of the American Revolution, (receiving from both, awards for fifty years of service), the Sea Island Club and various other organizations. She held leadership positions in both church and civic organizations at several levels. She was instrumental in forming the Midway Museum, the Hinesville Garden Club, the downtown Hinesville City Park and the restoration of the city jail. She was a contributor to life and a beloved friend to countless people, in a life-span of almost a century. She was predeceased by her husband, The Rev. James William Miller; her father, DonaldFraser; mother, Beulah Hines Fraser McCall; step grandfather, Bruce Cassels McCall; sisters, Lennox Fraser Bishop and Virginia Fraser Evans; brother, Donald Hines Fraser; and granddaughter, Linda Gordon Miller. Survivors: son, The Rev. James Miller and daughter in law, Carroll; grandchildren, James F. Miller, Jr. and Christy Miller; great -grandson, Austin James Miller; nieces, Jane Fraser Bowen, Ann Evans Guise, and Bettye Evans Wolney; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews, which each one was very special to her. Graveside Services: 2:00 p.m. Easter Sunday, April 20, at the Flemington Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Memorial Service: 5:00 p.m. at the Magnolia Manor on the Coast in Richmond Hill.
