BAKER, Marion E.W. (nee Beer). 1920 - 2004. Marion passed away peacefully after a short illness in Notre Dame Hospital in Montreal on February 16, 2004. She was loved and will be deeply missed by her daughter Patricia Robinson, son-in-law Don Robinson and grandchildren Lindsay and Michael. Marion was an inspiration and pillar of strength for her two sisters Kay and Joy. She will be fondly remembered by the Baker Family and her lifelong and dearest friends from her Bridge Club in Montreal. Marion was a successful career woman as President, Abercorn Aero Limited. She treasured many happy years with family and friends at Equinox in the Laurentians and at her home in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Marion was an exceptional and generous person and the rewards of knowing her were immense. Special thanks to her Caregivers at the Montreal Grace Dart Extended Care Centre. At Marion's request, there will not be a funeral service. Instead, a private family gathering will be held in the near future. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice, would be appreciated.
