->CARIBOU - Marilyn M. Adams, 89, wife of the late Alton Adams, went home to be with her Lord and Savior March 11, 2014, in Caribou, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Sept. 27, 1924, in Caribou, the daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Tardy) Dubay.Mrs. Adams was employed at L.S. Hall's in Caribou for many years. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and also attended the Caribou United Baptist Church. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Lister-Knowlton Post 9389 VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Cary Medical Center Seniority program.She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Thompson; her granddaughter, Jodi Blaisdell and her husband, Robert; her three great-grandchildren, Robert D. Blaisdell, Richard A. Blaisdell and his significant other, Jade McConnell, and Jennifer Blaisdell, all of Connor Township; one sister, Ruth Vetsch of Florida; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Faye Dubay of Louisiana; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Diane Mazerolle of Kenduskeag, and nephews, Gary and Fred Adams of Connecticut. Mrs. Adams was predeceased by her husband in 1985; a son-in-law, Dana W. Thompson; a brother, Galen; and a sister, Jeannette Ford.Private family services and burial at Evergreen Cemetery will be held at a later date.
