<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->October 13, 2014 Marilyn Louise Dawson, age 88 of Gallatin, formerly of Huntsville, passed away Monday, October 13, 2014. She was born June 23, 1926 in Minneapolis, MN, daughter of the late Gustave Arnold and Edna Mae Soupiset Thommen. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, William Scott Dawson and son, W. Scott Dawson II. She is survived by daughters, Melinda Joy Dillehay (Terry) of Gallatin, Debra Kay Haney of Madison, Diana Marie Reichelt of Everett, WA; her sister Jodi Pieschel (Mike) of Springfield, MN; grandchildren, David Dawson Dillehay (Nina), Michael Eric Dillehay (Desiree) and Melinda Joy Haney; great grandchildren, Jackson Tate Dillehay and Harrison Owen Dillehay. Mrs. Dawson was a long time educator and principal of East Clinton Elementary and Jones Valley Elementary in the Huntsville School System. Visitation will be from 1:30-2:00 pm at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, Huntsville, AL. The Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15th at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Huntsville, AL, with interment at Valhalla Memorial Gardens following the church service.
