HENDERSON, MARILYN JEAN - It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of their special sister, Marilyn Jean Henderson, at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 28th, 2005. She was born April 19th, 1941 and lived most of her life on Darlings Island. The lives of her family and many friends were deeply enriched and blessed by her loving and caring ways. We will always cherish special memories in our hearts. Music was one of her greatest enjoyments. She was a lifelong member of the Nauwigewauk Christian Church. She was the daughter of the late Percival and Gladys (DeVoe) Henderson. She is survived by sisters, Lillian Anderson, Nauwigewauk, Louise Dickson, Hammond River, Irene Donahue, Rothesay, Joan Henderson, Saint John, Norma Compton (Robert), Plymouth, Mass., sister-in-law Norma Cook, Montreal, one brother R. Ronald Henderson, Darlings Island. Predeceased by a brother, James Henderson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB on Saturday, July 30th and Sunday, July 31st, at 2-4 and 7-9pm. Private funeral will be held on Monday, August 1st at Nauwigewauk Christian Church. Interment will take place at Hampton Rural Cemetery.
