Marilyn D. Anderson, 69, passed away at her residence on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014. Marilyn's funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, N.J., www.normandean.com. (please share a memory of Marilyn on website), on Friday, Jan. 17, at 9 a.m. for a 10 a.m. service at First Presbyterian Church, Rockaway, N.J. Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday, Jan. 16, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Marilyn was born in Dover, N.J., and was a lifelong resident of Rockaway Borough, N.J. She was a homemaker and loved raising her two boys and tending to her lovely home. Marilyn was predeceased by her husband, George C. Anderson, and her sister, Eileen Rankin. She is survived by her sons, George J. Anderson and his spouse, Karo, and Scott T. Anderson and his wife, Janice, and her two cherished granddaughters, Julia and Olivia Anderson.
