WILMOT - Marilyn A. (Bacon) Lee, 80, of Kearsarge Valley Road, died June 17, 2011, at the Concord Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Somerville, N.J., Sept. 22, 1930, daughter of Achilles J. and Viola A. (Wiesner) Bacon. She moved to Wilmot in 1946. Years ago she worked at the soda fountain in the old Market Basket in New London. She also worked for Della Robia Wreath House in Wilmot in the early 1960s. She owned and operated a seasonal flower shop in Wilmot and also worked for New London Florist for many years. Since 1980, she owned and operated Forest Cone and Evergreen Shop on Kearsarge Valley Road in Wilmot. She used to enjoy being in plays put on by the Community Association and played leading ladies for about 10 years. She and her late husband ran a teen counsel group in town for several years, and they enjoyed square dancing together all over New England. She was predeceased in 2008 by her husband of 60 years, Robert E. Lee. Members of her family include her son, Richard E. Lee of Wilmot; her daughter, Robin A. Atwood of Wilmot; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Gail F. Barton of Andover; nieces, nephews and cousins. . SERVICES: Friends may call at the Chadwick Funeral Home, 235 Main St., New London, Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside service is Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Pine Hill Cemetery, Wilmot. Marilyn's nephew, James E. Lee, will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wilmot Bandstand Committee, P.O.
