MARIE WHITE EAST CHICAGO, IN Marie White, age 85, of East Chicago (via Brownsville, TN), passed away Thursday, October 13, 2011. She is survived by daughter, Hattie Cossey; granddaughter, June Denise (James Jr.) Pruitt all of East Chicago; four great grandsons: James Pruitt III of Rhode Island, Jarvis (Lauran) Pruitt, Justin Pruitt, and Jordan Pruitt all of West Lafayette, IN; one great great granddaughter, Kayla Jade Pruitt; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Marie was a member of Faith Temple COGIC, a member of the senior choir, and a faithful prayer warrior. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Temple COGIC, 3711 Pennsylvania Ave., East Chicago, with Supt. David Blakely officiating. Visitation 10:00 a.m. Divinity Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary, IN.
