Dearest wife of the late James Parent. Loving mother of Jean Paul and wife Barbara and the late Roger Parent. Beloved Mémé of Heather and Adrian Kuzyk, Grand Mémé of Kalyna Marie and Jamie. Special Mémé to Danielle Davis, Justine and Kris Hickmott, and Charles Cloutier. Dear sister of Evangeline Bondy, Margaret Hunt, Pauline Drouillard, Carmel Poisson, Julien and wife Cecile. Predeceased by her parents Emile and Attee Parent and brothers and sister Leo, Dollard, Theresa, and Wilfred. Dear sister-in-law of Dennis Parent, Mildred Parent, Lorraine Courneya, Gerard and Shirley Parent, and Gladys Lagace. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Visitation will be held at The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830) on Thursday, October 16, from 7-9 p.m. visitation will continue at the funeral home on Friday, October 14, 2005 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Fr. Thom Blondin officiating. Cremation to follow. A memorial mass will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Marie Parent in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 24, 2006. All are welcome.
