CHESNEE, SC-- Marie Elizabeth Painter Jackson, 86, formerly of 206 California Avenue, Chesnee, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2006, at Magnolia Manor of Inman after a long illness.Born in Chesnee, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ed and Victoria (Humphries) Painter and the widow of James Frank Jackson.She was a member of Hicks Grove Baptist Church in Mooresboro, NC and was a homemaker.She is survived by her daughter, Rose Overcash of Chesnee, SC; two grandchildren; and; two great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Hicks Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Byrd officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church.
