Marie Louise Carter, 85, of Lynn Haven, passed away July 29, 2013.She was born the daughter of James Walter and Nellie Mae Wallace on June 23, 1928 in Atlanta, Georgia. Mrs. Carter retired after many years of service in the grocery industry. She always had a passion for music especially bluegrass. After she retired, she participated in many music festivals. She enjoyed her family and her poodles.She is preceded in death by her parents, and her grandson, Anthony Moore.She is survived by her husband, Charley Carter, children, Tommy Moore (Carol), Norman Moore (Joan), Paula Breed (David) and Judy Roberson (John), grandchildren, Tiffany Kirk (Joseph), Trevor Moore (Jessica), Blake Moore (Freestar), Rebecca Jollie (Zadok), Elizabeth Gower (Chad), Chris Moore (Shelly), Matthew Pope (Karen), great-grandchildren, Neko, Tian and Sava Moore, Caitlyn, Jonathan and Noele Gower, and Braden, Koby, Jack and Max Moore, and Landon Pope; sister, Lila Wills, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 2, 2013 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Barton officiating.Interment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
