AUGUSTA, Ga. - Marie Knight, 74, died Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at University Hospital after a short illness. She was a daughter of the late William Baxley and Mabel Mixon Knight. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by a brother, Otis (Jo) Knight of Waynesboro; a sister, Betty K. Stewart of Augusta; two nieces; and one nephew. A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 5, at the Knight Family Cemetery. Rev. Rick Boland will officiate.
