Retired Supervisor, Health Tex CAMAK, Ga. - Mrs. Marie Haywood Todd, age 85, of Highway 80 N. Warrenton Hwy., Camak, entered into rest Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at Warrenton Health and Rehab Center. She was the beloved wife for 45 years of the late Mr. William Ralph Todd who deceased in 1982. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2005 at Camak Baptist Church with Dr. James M. Ramsey, and Revs. Chester Hall and Bryant Neal officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery. Mrs. Todd was a native of Glascock County. Her parents were the late James Wesley Haywood and Mattie Will Johnson Haywood. She was a member of Camak Baptist Church for 52 years and WMU and was a caregiver to many family and friends. "Granny Ree", as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren lovingly called her, will be greatly missed. A special thanks to the staff of the Warrenton Health and Rehab Center and staff of Watson Manor of Thomson. Survivors include hertwo daughters, Faye T. (Jimmy) Norman, Thomson, and Ann T. (Gary) Smith, Warrenton; her brother, Jack (Dahlia) Haywood, Mitchell; and two sisters, Jimmie H. Smith, Marietta, and Joyce H. Knox, Atlanta; her sister-in-law, Macey Haywood; four grandchildren, Jeff (Donna) Hinton, Gordon, Jay (Christie) Hinton, Sandersville, Angie (Butch) Stadler, Thomson, and Lee Ann (Bryan) Corbitt, Thomson; nine great-grandchildren, Kyle Hinton, Jacey, Brooke, and Anna Hinton, Cameron, Zach, and Trey Stadler, and Connor and Colin Corbitt; two step-grandchildren, Janice (Earl) Leavenworth, Washington, and Shela (Tim) Lawson, Tignall; and four step-great-grandchildren, Dustin and Jessica Turner and Will and Clay Lawson. She was preceded in death by her brother, Allen Haywood, and sister, Mabel Haywood. Pallbearers will be Jeff Hinton, Wayne Pulliam, Jacky Haywood, Riley Smith, Seab Todd, and Stacey Todd. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Russell, Barry Hemphill, Jamie Smith, Lonnie Bell, Rodney Collins, and Keith Arrington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Camak Baptist Church, P.O. Box 91, Camak, GA 30807, or to Briarwood Academy, 4859 Thomson Highway, Warrenton, GA 30828. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Lowe Funeral Home.
