DAVIS Marie Davis, age 62, of Bridgeport, died Thursday, December 25, 2003, at St. Vincent"s Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born in Orangeburg, S.C., she had been a resident of this city for the past 25 years. She was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church and performed piecework at the Kennedy Center. Survivors include a brother, Adam Davis, Jr. of Florida; two sisters, Eula Mae Smalls of Bridgeport and Alean Taylor of South Carolina; several nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 11 a.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 110 Grove Street, Bridgeport with the Rev. Dietra C. Bell, Pastor, officiating. Interment will take place in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Viewing will be Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Morton"s Mortuary, Inc., 25 Margaret E. Morton Lane, Bridgeport is in charge of the arrangements.
