HAMES, MARIE B. Marie B. Hames, 95, of High Springs passed away at her residence on June 01, 2009. Born in Chicago, Illinois, she then moved to Miami in 1926, to North Lauderdale in 1976, to Satellite Beach in 1986, to Palm Harbor in 1988, to Gainesville in 1998, and then to High Springs in 2008. She was of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Hames was preceded in death by her husband, Donald M. Hames, her parents and siblings. She is survived by 2 daughters: Donna (Frank) Robb of High Springs and Mary Hames-Mc Bride of N. Lauderdale; 3 granddaughters: Bonnie (Dayle) Peabody of Oviedo, FL, Robin (Mike) Green of Martinsville, IN and Sharon McBride of N. Lauderdale, FL; 2 grandsons: Michael (Joan) McBride of Carnegie, PA and Rob (Gabriela) Crews of Lutz, FL; 6 great-grandchildren: Jessica Howe, Kathryn Peabody, Elise Crews, Jeremy Green, Sophia Crews, and Ethan Peabody. Services will be held on Saturday, June 06, 2009 at 4:00 PM at Chapel in the Meadows, Forest Meadows Memorial Park-Central, 4100 NW 39th Ave. Gainesville, FL, with Rev. LoraKim Joyner officiating. Visitation will be held at Evans Carter Funeral Home on Friday, June 05, 2009 from 6 - 7 PM, with a memorial service following at 7:00 PM.
