->AUGUSTA -- Marie Ange Beaudry, age 99, died very peacefully with her loving family by her side on Monday, May 29, 2006, at the Augusta Rehabilitation Center, three weeks short of her 100th birthday. She had been a longtime resident of both Augusta and Chelsea and also Walter's Boarding Home for five years, and most recently at Augusta Rehabilitation Center.She was born June 19, 1906, in St. Frederic, Quebec, a daughter of Omer and Delia (Lachance) Vachon.Mrs. Beaudry was a communicant of St. Augustine Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the Ladies of St Anne Society. She had been employed at Bates Manufacturing Co., Edwards Division, for more than 22 years, but was a homemaker for most of her life.Survivors include her daughter, Lorraine Quirion of Augusta; her son, Valmond Beaudry and his wife, Lorraine, of Chelsea; two grandsons, Patrick Quirion of Augusta and Nelson Beaudry and his wife, Tammy, of Windsor; also two great-grandchildren, James Beaudry and Bethany Beaudry, both of Windsor. She is also survived by a special sister-in-law, Juliette Vachon of St Frederic, Quebec, and a special cousin, Lucette Fecteau of Augusta.She was predeceased by her husband, George J. Beaudry, on Nov. 4, 1979; also her son-in-law, Donald Quirion; a brother, Armand Vachon; and five sisters, Valerie Vachon, Marie Cloutier, Alice Beaudry, Georgianna Gilbert and Laura Nadeau. Other survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins, all from Canada.Friends may visit from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta where the Ladies of St. Anne Society will offer a prayer service at 3 p.m. Wednesday for their departed lifetime member. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 9 a.m. Thursday, June 1, from St. Augustine Catholic Church.
