-> Marian Frances Conway Carter, 95, died Sunday, August 3, 2003 at Savannah Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 15, 1907, to George Oliver Conway, and Minnie Anderson Conway. He was a homemaker and a member of Epworth United Methodtist Church for many years. She was a member of Laurel Chapter Order of The Eastern Star of Savannah, and the Savannah Garden Club. She arranged flowers for floral competition. Survivors: son, James Edward Carter, Jr., of Ridgeland, SC; daughter, Louradine C. Bell of Savannah; sister, Minnie Lou Wallace of Savannah; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Sipples Mortuary.
