MARIAN ELAINE WILLIAMS JOHNSON JACKSONVILLE - Marian Elaine Williams Johnson, a resident of Jacksonville, FL., passed away on December 26, 2011 from cancer. She was a member of New Life P.O.W.E.R. Ministries, Rev. Tywanna Estell, Pastor. She also was a member Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Co Founder of Success Christian Academy and School Administrator. A pillar of help, hope and healing for the youth of Jacksonville. A trailblazer for Education, Empowerment and Excellence. Survivors include: mother, Rose Lee Williams; two daughters, Chavon Johnson Peoples and Valencia Johnson Parsons; son, Michael Philpot; Beloved and Devoted Godson, Jeremiah Jackson; Godson, Michael Stanfield; 8 grandchildren, Chavon E. Peoples, Morgan Peoples, Myles Lawrence, Marquis Parsons, Micah Parsons, Paula Estell Kimbrough, Peyhton Bookart and Cameron Philpot ; Goddaughters, Tamara Cros-by, Sharrone Williams and Sadeja Thomas; five brothers, W. Jay Williams (Noami), Gil Williams (Jeanette), Warren Williams (Robbie), James Williams III, and Ferninand Juluke (Lois); sister, Rev. Dr. Tywanna S. Estell (Attorney Reginald, Jr.); sister in law, Bertha Bolden; other relatives and many friends. Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Phillippan Community Church. Celebration Service will be held on Friday - "A Night of Success" at Greater Harvest Church, 9113 Ridge Blvd, 32208, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment in Edgewood Cemetery.
