->WINSLOW -- Maria Pauline Michaud, 89, died Dec. 31, 2009, in Madison at Maplecrest Rehabilitation and Living Center. She was born in St. Francois, N.B., Canada, on September 29, 1920, a daughter of Alfred and Leanne (Sylvain) Bouchard.She lived in Caribou, Fort Kent, and in Clair, N.B., before moving to Winslow in 1962. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and worked for 20 years in the laundry department at Seton Hospital, retiring in October of 1982. She also worked at Mary Lou Hall at Colby College for many years. Maria was predeceased by her parents, her husband Camille H. Michaud; seven brothers Romeo, Roger, Reno, Robert, Raoul, Ernest and Laurent Bouchard; a sister, Fleurange, and a very dear friend, Elma Bard. Surviving are one son, John Michaud and his wife Carol of Mesa, Ariz.; a daughter, Claudette Frost, and her husband, Phillip Sr. of Anson; two brothers, Ronald Bouchard and his wife Joyce of New York and Leo Paul Bouchard and his wife Marlene of Alberta, Canada; two sisters, Aurore Michaud and husband Lauraut of Bristol Conn., and Margie Caron of Gorham; a sister-in-law, Gerry of Rochester, N.H.; six grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting hours will be held 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, at Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm St., Waterville. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday Jan. 7, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Winslow. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Grove St., Waterville. 7286405
