NASHUA -- Maria L. (Mercier) Roy Faucher, 94, a resident of Nashua, died Saturday, May 14, at Courville Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Leo D. Roy and Henry E. Faucher.She was born in Lowell, on July 28, 1910, daughter of the late Joseph O. and Anna (Laverdiere) Mercier. She had been a longtime resident of Nashua.Before retiring, Mrs. Faucher was employed by N.H. Tobacco for many years.She was a member of the Golden Age Club, the Senior Citizens and the Coliseum Association.Mrs. Faucher was a communicant of the Parish of the Resurrection.Her survivors include a son, Richard Roy of Sandy Creek, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Roy, and Jessica, Melissa, and Nichole Lane; four great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Jeannette and Emile Barry, and Sr. Lucille Mercier, all of Lowell; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
