ALBERTO, Maria Jose (Nee De Almeida) Peacefully on Friday, June 12, 2009 in her 84th year, after battling many undeserving years of poor health. Predeceased by her loving husband Joseph De Rego Alberto and daughter Fatima. Loving mother of Joe (Jocelyn), Lucy, Dave and Chloe (Pierre). Beloved grandmother, great grandmother and step-grandmother of Stephane, Vicky, Jesse, Matthew, Trinity, Dawson, Tristan, Evelyn, Gina and Chloe-Pier. Also survived by her brother Manuel De Almeida and her sister Odilia De Almeida. Predeceased by her brother Joao De Almeida. She has moved on to rest in peace. Maria was loved by many family and friends, who will miss her terribly. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway) Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Senhor Santo Cristo Roman Catholic Church, 1100 Kenaston Street, Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
