GOFFSTOWN -- Marguerite T. King, 83, died Dec. 18, 2008. She was born in Tewksbury, Mass., the daughter of Arthur and Alma (Harrison) Tremblay. She had resided in Goffstown for the past seven years, previously living in Sandwich. Mrs. King attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury High School. She was a graduate of St. Joseph School of Nursing in Lowell, Mass. She served as a cadet nurse during World War II. She was a founder of Visiting Nurse Association of Moultonborough, where she worked for many years. Subsequently, she joined her husband as managing partner of Technical and Engineering Aids for Management, a service and consulting organization. She was an active past officer in the Women's Club of Sandwich, and a ballot clerk in Sandwich for many years. The family includes her husband of 61 years, James R. King of Goffstown; a daughter, Celine Coon of Starksboro, Vt.; two sons, James A. King of West Lebanon and Michael P. King of Goffstown; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. SERVICES: A calling hour will be held Monday, Dec. 29, from 10 to 11 a.m. at French and Rising Funeral Home, 17 South Mast St., Goffstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church. Burial will be in the Tewksbury Cemetery.
