LEE, Marguerette Hazel On July 25, 2007, Marguerette passed away at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her son Robert Thomas Smith, daughter-in-law Judy Smith, both of Barrhead, Alberta, grandson Raymond Todd Payne of Ladysmith, B.C. and Melvyn Clack, nephew, of Thorhill, Alberta. Margurette was born in Decker, Manitoba in 1917 and lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba before moving to reside in Victoria until her death. Marguerette's career as a seamstress spanned her entire life, much of which was spent in her alterations shop in James Bay. Graveside service is at Royal Oak Burial Park on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Victoria Hospice and Palliative Care Society, 1510 Fort St., Victoria, B.C.
