Funeral for Margie Jewel Patterson, 84, of Falkville will be Friday, May 13, 2005, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Miller officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Patterson died Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 9, 1920, in Morgan County to Wiley Jack Bates and Forest Hall Bates. She was a lifelong member of Ebenezer Freewill Baptist Church.She is survived by three sons, Jimmy Patterson of Falkville, Gerald Patterson of Decatur and Michael Patterson of Falkville; one daughter, Imogene Drake of Vinemont; one sister, Madge Johnson of Falkville; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one greatgreat-grandchild.
