Mitchell, Margaret WilmaMay 26, 1917 - Oct. 27, 2010Margaret Wilma Mitchell, 93, of Sarasota, died Oct. 27, 2010.She was born in Detroit and she relocated to Florida in 1972. She retired from General Motors as an executive secretary in 1982, and was currently working as a receptionist for Sarasota Anesthesiologists, her "daytime family" as she called them. She had volunteered for St. Martha's, Sarasota County Government, the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce and currently the Fruitville Library. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Linda and Massimo Testa of Rome, Italy, Gina and Steven Armand of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Casey and Ray Pilon of Sarasota; three grandchildren, Amanda Testa, Sean Pilon and his wife, Susan, and Chad Pilon and his wife, Carrie; and great-granddaughters Emersen and Caroline. "Laugh, love, live life to the fullest" was her mantra. She brought joy (and sometimes havoc) to everyone she met. Her smile and thoughtfulness will be missed by many. A memorial service will be at a later date.
