Obituary of Margaret Williams


Margaret Rasor Williams, age 96, of Cross Hill, and widow of G. Fred Williams, died Friday, June 25, 2004, at the N.H.C. of Clinton. She was born in Cross Hill, and was the daughter of the late Henry and Blanche Rasor. Mrs. Williams attended USC, and graduated from the Sherman Music School in Chicago. She was a retired schoolteacher from School District 56, was a member of Lisbon Presbyterian Church in Mountville, and was the church organist for many years at Liberty Springs Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Beth Williams, of Cross Hill; a son-in-law, George Sease, of Clinton; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Patsy Sease, of Clinton. Graveside services will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. at Liberty Springs Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately after the service. Memorials may be made to Lisbon Presbyterian Church, 3431 Lisbon Road, Mountville, SC 29370; Liberty Springs Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Ernie Austin, 84 W.
