Margaret Dolly Williams April 28, 1933 July 27, 2010 It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our mom and grandma Margaret Dolly Williams after a lengthy illness. Dolly was born on April 28, 1933 in Crutwell, SK to Mina and Alec Franks. She married Verne Williams on September 14, 1957 in Prince Albert, SK where they resided for many years before Dad's job took them to Saskatoon. When Dad retired Mom and Dad moved to Borden to the farm, later moving to the town Radisson. When Mom's health started to fail they then returned to Saskatoon. Dolly is survived by her daughter, Shannon (Jim) Halischuk of Pike Lake, SK, grandsons, Nathan (Melissa) Halischuk of Radisson, SK, and Cameron Halischuk of Pike Lake, SK; son-in-law, Marcel Chandler of Prince Albert, SK; granddaughters, Shannon Chandler (Cory Palko) of Sturgeon Lake, SK, and Krista Chandler of Prince Albert, SK; sister, Ginger Tiegen; brothers, Jim (Doreen) Franks, Bill Franks, Alfred Franks, and Don (Sue) Franks; numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Dolly was predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years, Verne; daughter, Shelley; daughter in infancy; and her parents, Mina and Alec Franks. The family would like to thank all the staff on the Renal Unit SPH especially Sue and Deanna for their compassionate care in Mom's last hours. We would also like to thank the wonderful staff at Porteous Lodge for being Mom's extended family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Renal Unit SPH or to Porteous Lodge. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m.on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Park Funeral Chapel (311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK).
