Margaret 'Peggy' Van Horn TRENTON - Margaret "Peggy" Van Horn (nee Hoedl) was embraced by her Savior Jesus Christ on Dec. 14, 2010. Born April 6, 1917, in Wilkes-Barre, PA to Josef Hoedl and Mary Blank, she was the surviving sister of Joseph, John, Frank, Fritz and Sister Celestine Hoedl. She was predeceased five years earlier by her devoted husband of 66 years, George A. Van Horn, with whom she is now reunited. Margaret lived her life with grace and dignity. A woman of devout faith, she recently reminded her loved ones "Do Not Be Afraid" and "God Is In Control." A member of Saint Anthony's Church, she received great comfort and joy attending Sunday Mass and receiving communion. She lived independently until the age of 93 1/2 at the family home in Villa Park, Trenton, with her motto being "having my feet under my own table." Most important to Margaret was family. She delighted and participated in every aspect of sharing in the love and happiness that a large family brings and particularly enjoyed sharing in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
