Peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, after a long, happy, and productive life on Wednesday, April 18, 2001, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Bennett (Mac) B. McEwen. Loving mother of Sue and her husband Dick Bodell of Kitchener, and Jane McEwen and her husband Bill Duncan of Vancouver, B.C. Cherished grandmother of Michael and Meredith Bodell, and Jenny and Claire Duncan. Sister-in-law of Sally Robinson. Predeceased by her brother Robie Robinson. Margaret was born and raised in Napanee, Ontario where she met Mac. They were married in Ottawa in 1944. They shared an incredible love for each other and their family and we are blessed as a family to have been surrounded by their love. Marg and Mac spent many happy years in Ottawa, New Smyrna Beach, Florida and Vancouver. Marg returned to Ontario in 1997. The arrangements are in the care of Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener. Donations to the charity of your choice would greatly be appreciated and acknowledged by the family.
