Margaret Stuart, born in 1934, spouse of Vernon Stuart, died on March 21, 2013. Please consult the obituary here:
STUART, Margaret Irene (Kloschinsky) June 29, 1934 - March 21, 2013 Our hearts were broken as the angels took our beloved wife, mom, gramma, and nana to heaven on March 21, 2013. Margaret was born and raised in Lake Lenore, Saskatchewan. She moved to Saskatoon where she met and married the love of her life and soul-mate Vernon Wallace Stuart. They moved to Calgary and during their 56 years of marriage raised five children. Margaret is survived by her husband Vernon, her children Caron (Ken) Williams, Cym Huebner, Cindy (Chris) de Jong, Michele (Kevin) Stuart, and Mike (Pam) Stuart, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, her aunt Katherine Winkleman, siblings Bob (Sharon) Kloschinsky, Lorne (Donna) Kloschinsky and Janet Kerr, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret's greatest joy was to have her family all together. She was "Mom" to all and she had a heart that was open and giving. She would look after anyone who needed a hand. She was the therapist when you needed to talk, the Dr. when you needed patching up and the gourmet cook to fatten us up with the delicious desserts she would make. Margaret's professional life reflected her interest in health as she worked for many years as a medical administrator for various doctors before retiring from the practice of the Late Dr. Paul Crossfield. The family would like to express our deepest appreciation to all the wonderful doctors involved in Margaret's care: her family Doctor Wendy Tink for her years of excellent care, Dr. Simon, Dr. Watson and the rest of the Palliative Care team from the Foothills Hospital, doctors and staff from the Tom Baker Cancer Centre and the doctors and staff from Unit 32, and Unit 46 of the Special Services Building. The family is grateful for the care and compassion given to us in this difficult time. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL hOME on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. (Those wishing, may pay their respects prior to the Service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.) Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society (Unit 200, 325 Manning Road N.E., Calgary, Alberta, T2E 2P5).
