LAPOINTE, Margaret (nee Shea). 1941-2007. Peacefully passed away on August 28, 2007 surrounded by her loving family at the West Island Palliative Care Residence. Beloved wife and best friend of Brian Lapointe, devoted mother of Joey (Margaret), Patricia (Peter), Corinne (Ken), Frank (Sue), and Paula (Gerry). Proud grandmother of Sarah, Camilla, Maria, Cameron, Curtis, Karli, Bradley, Kristi, and Leah. Loving sister of Rita, late Clifford, late Howard, late Claude, late Elaine, Leonard, late Sidney, Joan, Leigh, late Barbara and Billy. She will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Peggy will be remembered for her smile, laughter, for her genuine kindness and her spirit for life. She was loved by all and will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2007 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd. Dollard-des-Ormeaux, (514) 685-334. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 2 p.m. at St. David's Church, 12450 Gascon, Pierrefonds.
