ObituaryOur loving mother, grandmother and very best friend went to be with her Lord, September 23, 2003. She was surrounded by all of her friends and went quickly. Peggy was an avid BINGO player and she loved spending her time at the Lehigh Acres Senior Center. Peggy enjoyed life to its fullest. She spent many of her hours at the Senior Center and she worked at the library as a volunteer. She enjoyed her crafts at home and making people happy with her cards. She loved her family very much and was loved by them all. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Peggy was born to Francis & Loya Yonkers August 24, 1940. She is survived by her stepfather, Tom Mahar, by two sisters Margie & (Art) and Mary. And one brother Jim. She was married to William (Bill) Edward Davis, Sr. They had four children Loya & (Ron) Pankow, William & (Angie) Davis, Richard & (Stephanie) Davis, Donna & (Gary) Anderson. She is survived by thirteen grandchildren: David Campbell, Hiedi & (Adam) Labs, Susan & (Justin) Jobst, Rhonda Pankow, John Pankow, Robbie Spicer, William Spicer, Amanda Spicer, Jennifer Davis, Courtney Meavoy, Jerimiah Davis, & Becca Davis, and one great grandchild Zachariah Vern Labs. She was preceded in death by her parents Francis Yonkers and Loya Maha and her loving husband William Edward Davis, Sr. A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at the Anderson Funeral Home of Lehigh Acres at 1:00 PM, friends may call on family from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation be sent to the Lehigh Acres Senior Center.
